5th, 3rd and 3rd

Here they are: all bright and shiny and ready for a new school year. They're growing up so fast, and I'm making note to soak it all in.

The oldest.

The youngest. By two minutes.

The silliest. Sometimes.

Back to School

I made these for the girls. Not super useful for protecting apples, but very useful for making me smile.

Tomorrow: pictures of the kiddos on their first day.

franny+toby

My baby niece Franny got married last weekend. Okay, she's not a baby anymore. In fact, she's 22, almost as old as I was when I got married. So hard to believe.

My girls got in lots of quality time with their cousins. Older cousins...

...and younger cousins.

And, Eric was assigned to keep our great-nephew occupied before and during the wedding because both his parents were in the wedding. It was the first time we'd met him since he lives far away in Anchorage, AK. They were fast friends as you can see.

Wheee!

Eric built this AMAZING swing set over the past couple of weeks. What a project. It is MUCH larger than I pictured it, but it's just their size. And, it graces our yard quite nicely I think.

Ahhh... A Camping Trip

We had such a nice time camping on Canyon Ferry Lake last weekend. We found a wonderful, FREE spot with a gorgeous view, (relatively) easy access to the water and no people anywhere near us! It was so nice. Yes, camping is a lot of work for the parents who have to pack up all the stuff, set up the tents, build the fire, cook the food, do the dishes, etc. But our kids are getting more and more helpful every year, and I love helping them make these memories that will last a lifetime.
